Whenever you buy an application to use at home or for business purpose, you receive a product key to activate the acquired product and get it running at its full potential. Unfortunately, if you forget or lose this key, you won't have access to the installed program anymore.
This is where Product Key Explorer might come in handy, a useful application that scans your PC and computers from your IP range to locate any lost program data, like product ID or key.
Product Key Explorer gets a plus for the simple fact that it allows you to choose on which systems, local or in range, to look for license keys. Even though this utility provides you with an accurate scan delivering you a list with all found product keys, it takes a bit too long to process, especially when you perform a scan on computers in your IP range.
Moreover, when I clicked over the "Abort" button to stop a scan, it took a while to end the process.
Still, what makes this key finder different from other similar programs is the fact that you can export the product keys list directly to Registry File or save the document to a local folder. Now on, whenever you forget a product key for a program, just open the saved file and copy-paste the key over the product activation box.
It helps you retrieve the product keys (codes) for MS Office installations.
